Thats not a original 400 manifold unless it was put on real late ones. It is the last design that IH made and sold on 450 gasoline tractors and also replacement for M SM MTA 400 gasoline also. Yes it will work fine. Originaly pipe in top was little longer on 400 and 450 than the rest.
