Yep, the manual calls for 30wt non-detergent engine oil, which is fine if you're going for authenticity, and if you can find non-detergent motor oil. HOWEVER, oil technology has advanced in the last 68 years. They didn't have hydraulic oil back then. Now they do. It's called HyTran and it's what you should be using.
