WCSPIKE:. The real farming use of a B Farmall? (The first tractor I drove was our 1941 B Farmall) We had an MD for all heavy work and a couple smaller tractors for all other work that did not need the power of a large tractor. This would be things like:.pulling wagons, mowing hay, cultivating corn, seeding amall grains, pulling a corn planter, moving equipment between farms, etc etc. In other words , all work that did not need a lot of power. It was a very good 2ed tractor for the MD. This was the general use of our B from 1940 to about 1955. Hope this helps give an idea of what a working B Farmall did to earn its keep......harvey
