What tractor should my Brother-in-Law get?

My B.I.L. was going to get an M because it was nice and shiney, and it ran well. Fully restored. But the deal didn't happen for various reasons. Which is good, because he has a little 6 acre farm he is putting a tangerine orchard into.
He likes my H, which is sitting on his farm, but he wants a tractor already restored to replace his '48 Fergy that runs hot. So, the tractor is only going to do light work around his farm. He, like me, doesn't know squat about tractors. But he likes red ones, like me. So, what should we be looking for?
I've seen the O-4 in Guy Fay's book with the cool fairings for orchards, but I have a feeling those are rare and expensive. Is there a number series that is basically the same thing? Thanks for any suggestions.
