Heisler, M&W. Behlen all made what is called the 9 speed transmission. They mated a shiftable larger gear to the constant mesh gear on the top shaft, also smaller gear onthe lowershaft. they all were about a 30% increase in the 4 speeds.as 5th is direct on the top shaft it was not affected. Linkage on the right M&W,left side linkage Heisler. Cable operated, Behlen
