There are two seals in that area. One on the tranny and another one in the final druve so you mite as well get both and replace them while you are apart. Only gasket needed is the one one the lower pan that holds the 90wt for final drive and the little one on the end of the diff shaft. The seals and gaskets on the axle are probably ok but if leaking there goes more parts. You wont know which ones are leaking on the diff shaft till you have it apart.
