I have a question regarding the 86 series. I have 4 1086 tractors in my family, each one is different. The newest one is a 1981, it has the red panels and the red, western interior with the digital pushbutton dash, and the smoother ergonomical handles on the gearshifts. The other 3 are all the same yet different, each has the black interior, black seat, round gearshift handles, dial dashboards etc. I have heard about the red power package and the all red paint scheme on the 81 year. My question is were all the 1086 the same engine/trans wise or was there a difference in the red power line power wise? I always assumed it was just powder and paint (all red and red interior) but I hear stories of different engines, etc. and I wanted to put it out here for the real experts. Thanks for your help.

Originally the company was called the Cleveland Motor Plow Company which began in 1912, then the Cleveland Tractor Company (1917) and finally Cletrac.
