Foot Throttle - Super A

My cousin has a foot throttle that is on (from what I read) a Super A1 that he uses for parts. When I was at his house he wanted me to take it but I didnt. Now I have been thinking (which is dangerous) and decided it might be a neet addition for my Super A. I didnt study how it hooked up to close so I am wondering if it would be a problem to add it to a Super A if it didnt come with one. Did any of the Super A's come with a foot throttle? I had to get a new clutch protector and it was already cut out for one. Good add on or a waste of time?
