Mike...Been there, so I understand. Here's my story, yours in reverse: My grandfather did have an H, the first tractor I ever drove when I was 11. The auction I went to 18 months ago when I was 58 had an H and a Super M. I wanted the H, but when the bidding climbed above $3,200, I bowed out. Then I bid on the Super M and got it for $2,200. The first tractor I ever owned. Felt a bit sorry for myself too. Now get over it. Really. Cause know what? My Super M is now special to me--the largest and most powerful of the letter series and a mighty tractor. I WILL have an H someday, when I've finished what I need to do on the Super M and learned a lot in the process. I'll appreciate that future H much more. You will too. LEARN on the H, then apply that knowledge to the M you'll have some day. Give it a little time, Mike. I predict that your FIRST tractor--H or M--will grow on you and always be special in its own way, if you give it a chance. The H is a a wonderful tractor--more comfortable, more maneuverable, and the most popular letter series tractor IH ever made. Best of luck on your journey. David
