C 169 is a 300 engine. It will work in a H, but if its a utility the front engine cover is different than row crop and some bolts that hold cover to engine block are a bigger diameter. You can make the row crop cover work on utility block with not much problem. If tractor has a turned down manifold that could be a problem unless the one on your H is a replacement that will take a H or 300 carburator bolt pattern.
