Been soaking the cylinders in my F-20 for a year and a half. Got the old girl home last night and took the head off. The sleeves and everything were rust free and looking good. I had one heck of a time pulling a push rod from the lifter. My clutch is froze to the point I cannot even budge the pedal. I'm guessing I have a stuck lifter but surprised with a little tug on the crank she didn't break loose. Sure hate to take the cam out to find it was never a lifter. The engine is in great shape otherwise. I'm also going to pull the clutch apart. On this forum once someone had a stuck engine and discovered the clutch housing was full of mouse nests causing the problem. Not sure how that is possible but I will not rule anything out at this point. The radiator cap was left off and the mice have been living in the radiator and engine block for some time. What a mess!! Just confused why the engine is stuck so tight and thought I would share with you guys.
