Hey Bongo, I think 50 psi is about right for your A. Oil leaks around the filter are notorious on these old Farmalls. When you think you have all the old rubber o-ring out that seals the canister over the filter check it twice and three times. Any of the old o-ring left in the grove at all will make it leak like a big dog. Take you a small sharp screw driver and realy dig around in that grove. Good luck.
