Harold:. Back in the 1950's there was a national club called Flying Farmers and we went to many fly-in meetings. They mixed farming and flying info into all mmeetings. I haven't heard, in many years, anything at all about that group. Anyone still know if they are active?? That was neat to fly from one farm to another to have Sunday meetings. One of the things I found interesting, being a crop duster pilot, was the ability to see just how well or poorly the crop was in different areas of anyone field. (Of course the larger fields of the Western wheat country helps.) I think using a good ultra light to scout the country side for unused tractors\equipment would be a real fun thing to do. There is a lot of equipment just out of site of the highways. Yup..flying and farming.. both are great if ya don't care about how much money your spending.(ha)..HR .Harvey
