The "T" is not a normal "T". The end that screws into the tank has a small hole, like 1/8" drilled in it. A normal "T" would allow any pressure to be built to open the needle enough to allow fuel to flow. I fought that probelm for a couple on months and finally fiqured out that was the problem.But either way the overflow need to be on there.
