You can get a lot of mixed opinions about IH balers but a model 46 is a decent baler when everything is set right. I have one and bale about 2000 bales per year with very little trouble. I've bought a couple of small parts but they were available at the dealer. I haven't had any serious mechanical problems with mine and I've owned it almost 20 years. There are lots of them in junk yards so thats another source of parts.
