I use my 46 for several thousand bales every year and it does a good job. If you are not familiar with this machine I suggest getting a manual and reading it carefully. There are several grease nipples in obscure places. The trouble shooting guide section for the knotters is invaluable if you have trouble in this area. One area to check is the cams that operate the pickup teeth. The bearings are sealed and cannot be greased. If they, or one of them siezes up, the eliptical cam track can quickly wear through and jam the whole kaboodle solid. My 2cents, Karl
