Thanks Ja, It's rough for us guys with barn shops to test the stuff out before buying. I guess what I can do is buy one cylinder and a couple of lines and try it out. That won't be a good indicator of speed as it would need load to make it accurate. PTO pumps run a hefty 700$, but I cold rig a geared up gizmo for 1/3 the cost with a pto welding coupler and a couple motorcycle sprokets and chain. I'd use the designed pump. I'd need an oil bath arrangement too. A bit dangerous and it'd need a shear pin just in case. Wouldn't take long to put togeather. The options are out there. Had a chance to buy a used farm 3PH backhoe once for 800$, should a took it. Thanks for the tip. Spence
