Low speed is about the same as standard factory gears, high speed is quite a bit faster. Only works in 1st through 4th gear & reverse. 5th gear is not effected because it's direct drive. Also the belt pulley, pto, & hyd. belly pump are speeded up in high range. My 3 point hitch really jumps when the transmission is in high rangeI don'tknow how this effects the pump so I usually use the low range . ken
