need help finding serial number

New to the forum and antique tractors,and this is probably a stupid question but.. my "new" super c is dying out when i give it gas, i want to replace the carbuerator but i can"t find any serial numbers on the carb, or on the tractor (the tool box is gone)please help the novice! and here's one even dumber..three of us have looked and we can't find the oil dipstick!
