I would suspect that a large percentage of the condensers which are being supplied for replacement today are being produced in Mexico or China with little or no quality control. The last tune-up kit which I got from IH the other day was still labeled "Made in USA" so apparently they are still furnishing US made components. Cost was less than 11 dollars & included points, condenser, & cam lube. I don't know how people in China are getting along if the stuff they are getting is any where as lousy as what is being sent over here. I put the brakes on buying anything "Made in China".
