I made my own as well. Just got half inch plate and made two identical patterns on each end of a 8 inch long plate and it worked fine. I take a bolt and cut 2 slots up the threads and turn into the holes and the dirt can come up the slots and take out a few times to clean and then blow out with compressor. Helps to put a point on the end of the slotted bolt to cut down thru the crud. Really helps to have the fenders set out a bit. migraine
