I do understand how some of you feel. But you have to admit that his basic underlying theme is important to us all. That we all dont have to agree and living in the USA gives us the opportunity to express our views. I do know of his fued with lynrd skynard and I will keep my comments to myself. As far as him being a canadian, well there are ALOT of people who come to the USA and live here for 40+ years for a reason. They obviously like it here. Whle you may not agree with his views, I haven't on occassion, as I stated earlier his main idea he is trying to get across is to Speak Up!! Change never occurs from people being quiet and doing nothing. I'm happy this thread hasnt turned into anything ugly. Let's try to keep it that way. I liked his music when I was way young before I knew what the lyrics meant.
