You've either fallen into a bunch of bad condensors, or there is something else wrong... poor connection or short in that distributor that is momentarily "repaired" when you wiggle things around to replace the condensor.

Have you ever tried putting one of the "bad" condensors back in, to see if it "works" again, for a while?

If, in fact, the condensors ARE failing, where have you been getting them?

Try a CNH, Blue Streak, or NAPA Premium condensor.
