you would have to look at a 2440 or a 2640 Deere to get around 65 horsepower in 1979, the 2440 had 60 Horsepower and the 2640 had 70 horsepower, both of these tractors were utility style tractors 4040 built from 78-82 had 90 horsepower and a 4030 built from 72-77 had 80 horsepower, both of these could be had in row crop versions
