"How should I trade if at all"? Don't trade. If you want the M give him salvage value -- or no more than $500. It will cost you $1000+ to fix the engine, maybe $1200-$1500 if it needs bearings, cam, crank ground, etc. Otherwise, you WILL get took. Sandblasted and "primered" means the M needs to be painted right away or it will rust under the primer, unless he used epoxy, which is doubtful, since most people don't know that only epoxy primer is waterproof, the rest aren't. So, it probably already has begun to rust. Unless you want a major project, forget it. If you do want a major project, keep your A and pay him the minimum amount.
