I am speaking from SMTA and 400-450 experience and assume the same applies to your situation. In order to have a place to bolt the steering upright, you will have to put the SH lid on the 300-350 tub. It is quite likely that the SH shifting forks will not work so the 300-350 forks will have to go into the H lid. Doing the above will probably present other problems like mounting the hydraulics. I dunno. I would start with the understanding that you are not the first to attemp this. So just buy both tractors and start building it with what fits. To do the job right, you should really be thinking about only using parts that have a Z in the casting codes. Late SH's and early 300's have them. I have a late SH with the right codes. If you want to do more research, try searching on HTA or SHTA in the photo section. I wouldn't be surprised if there are a few pictures. Email the owner and start a correspondence.
