If you use your tractor and don't just show it then to heck with the correct police. Think you will like the conversion. It will certainly start better and if you run lights the bulbs will be much cheaper and easier to find than 6 volt. Did the kit inclued the 12 volt coil or resister to use ahead of the 6 volt one? You will need to change the wiring to the coil also as the new setup will be negative ground.
