Hi, we had a B414 ag tractor with BD154 engine put about 10,000 hrs on it and was still running good when we traded it for 454. Must keep good battery and glow plugs in top shape to start easily. If it is below -10F then some kind of coolant heater is required for starting. We used an in line heater in lower rad hose and would start below -30F after being plugged in for 2 Hrs. JB2
