It is kinda unfortunate the IH records have all models of a series lumped together. My Guy Fay book has 10938 S 9's. I am into the 00 series following the S 6's and S 9's etc. In 56 there were 673 S 9's built and 1484 600's built, slightly more than the 1830 S 9's in 55, and less than the 3662 built in 54 and a whole lot less than the 4773 built in 53. Summer of 06 I bid on a 600 poor unmatched tires, good tin and running on gas only, it sold for $2500 C$. I bought one running, good rubber and good tin for $2700 C$ off of this site. A SWDR9 stuck may need big $ especially if the valve train is stuck, I would thnk it would have to be real good cosmetically and tires to make $1000.
