I overhauled the ta on my SMTA several years ago and used the ramp and roller setup. It works fine but have heard the sprague type is more sturdy. I went to the pad type heavy duty clutch plate on the main clutch, it takes hold more solidly than the disc but not great for a situation where you have to "feather" the clutch such as on a loader or sometimes easing into a heavy spot with the baler.
