If that little part is the one I am thinking of, I had a stuck one. I took the smallest drill bit I had and drilled through. Kept increasing the drill bit size until I could use my smallest easy out and it screwed out. I also sprayed it with lots of penatrating oil inside and out. That part is no longer available so I wouldn't mess with it unless you have a spare.
