Mark, I think what you have is common. I have seen several Super A's as well as 140's with that problem. The ones I have seen have always wore on the right side and I suspect its from being down in the furrows and thus getting rougher use. Or maybe its that it lighter on that side and that causes the wear. On the Super A I restored the right one was welded. I left it that way because its the way my father had it. It isnt a pretty weld and now you can't adjust it. My cousins 140 is loose but so far he has been able to tighten the clamps down more and take care of it, that wont last tho. I like your idea of the bushing but then your going to have to drill the holes even bigger. I would try welding the hole up and redrilling first. See how that goes and if that dont work you can always do the bushing.
