I have seen three Super A's with that same seat. At seeing the first one, I just wrote it off as somebody's barnyard engineering project. Then, as I saw more of them over time, I recalled they (all three) had their serial number tags rivited to the front (base) of the seat - each in the same location, near the front edge of the operator platform. Later, I saw a discussion on this forum asking about how to climb up on a Super A, and this one fellow said he had the optional "XXXXXXXX" (I don't recall what he called it) seat, and commented that it gave him very little foot room on the operator platform of his tractor. And, that is the way the ones were that I saw; they took up considerable room on the floor board. So....., now I am not so sure that what you have, (and what I have seen on Super A's,) was not some obscure seat option. I would not be so quick to change it out, unless you just want to. mike
