The H Farmall that my father used to have was the same way. It had the correct large cables, the charging system was working, and the battery was good. It never failed to start, even in below zero temps. Push down the start button and the engine would only rotate about 1/4 of a turn and stop. Let up on the button, push it down again, and get another 1/4 turn. Release the button, push it the third time, and the engine was running. Just like that, every time. That tractor had a loader on it and was used for loading ensilage to feed the cattle. No matter what, that H had to run or the cattle didn't get fed.
