I just visited with a mechanic who is doing and inframe overhaul on an 806 Diesel. The radiator was shot so he ordered a new one which would not fit. The reason it didn't fit was because the tractor had a 1456 front end on it and a 1456 radiator. The 1456 radiator has a little arch in the middle of the bottom of the tank which fits over the power steering pump. He checked IH for a 1456 radiator and was told there is not even an after market radiator for the 1456. He then took the new 806 radiator to the radiator shop and had the bottom tank of the 1456 bad radiator removed and exchanged it with the new 806 tank to make it fit. It seems to work good.
