Looking at the production numbers for the first three years, then from 1944 on, it would be logical to conclude that they stopped production on As and Bs in mid-1942 due to the war.

They made roughly 25,000 As and Bs per year up to 1942, then only about 13,000 over two years. After the war, production numbers were up in the 20,000+ unit range.
