Mike: I don't think I'd put a for sale sign on the Super A just yet. The Allis G is an excellent row crop cultivating tractor, however it's not much good for anything else. I don't think I'd go so far as to say the Allis G is 10 times better than the Super A, overall maybe marginally better. It's big advantage is the view of the crops and the work you are doing. I don't think the Allis G has as much crop clearence as the Super A. If I were growing 20 acres of market garden crops, I'd definitely have an Allis G, but I'd probably also have a couple of offset Farmalls. If I were growing less than an acre and using my tractor for yard work and a host of other chores, I'd have an offset Farmall. But then, I already have 3 offset Farmalls just to get that less than an acre done. If you do as I do, and not do as I say, you'll probably buy the Allis G and keep the Super A. Then you probably should have a small Fergie, 8N, MH Pony and a Cockshutt 20 to go with the other two. The beauty of any of these little tractors is, they don't seriously deplete your bank account.

Experimentation, from the most complex assembly to the most simple and mundane component, is as an integral a part of any farm tractor's development
