C lp????

i found a farmall C according to the serial number its a 1949, but it has a lp system on it and no regular gas tank the hood is half gone, it hasnt been moved for many years but looks to be 90 percent there including the front tires with wide whitewalls, 50's? i have never heard of ih offering these with a lp set up, am i right in assuming a home conversion? even has a old ih syclebar mower mounted behind it
