TAs are the shining point of any Farmall/IH SMTA on up. They make speed and torque selection painless and are worth the effort to fix. Our 350U has the same (working) TA in as it had when new. It has been through one in chassis, and one full rebuild with a main clutch, with no service on the TA. If used rapidly between Low and High, and High and Low, and kept in adjustment By the book (twice a year for ten minutes) they work for a long long long time. JimN
