TSH, A Roll-pin on the linkage has shered in all probiblity. It is located in the right rear corner of the Steering/Gear selector console. Right @ shoe sole "floor" level. You will need to remove the RH Batt, And the inspection plate on the front on the console "you shoes are always resting on this plate". The shifter is a vertical shaft in that tight RH rear corner. If youn have the tractor in nuetral, place the selector in Nuetral too then take a small punch and hammer and drive the remains out, then install a new one! Mine shared a number of years back. It had some slack, so I converted mine to a 1/4 bolt. If you do this you will need to shortened it so NO threads stick out past the nut! That is how slim the tollerences are in that corner. Hope this helps! Later, John A.
