Stage 2 SH should only have a input shaft seal on front of transmission and it can be changed. I have never tryed to take a SH clutch out bottom so can't answer that. I guess it depends where and what you have to work on tractor with. I would rather split a H than work from under and can have one split in close to same time as it takes to get everything out from under. On a Stage 2 SH though you have the hydraulic lines to deal with. I would split anyway but just my opinion and not saying its the best way.
