I was comparing part #s in the book today with the Parts on the tractor I'm working on, and I found a head scratcher. The front timing cover on the 1951 engine I'm working on is part # 354950R1. That # isn't in the parts book. It should be 352168R21 for a late H through a Farmall 350. I checked the # on Old Speedy that I rebuilt during the Summer, and its 354950R1. I bought that cover off of a 350 Farmall in the boneyard. Then I checked the cover that I removed from Old Speedy and it is 354950R1. I guess I didn't need to buy a cover. Does anyone have a parts book with the number for a front timing cover with the number 354950R1 ? Then I will know for sure what they are off of. Now I'm more cornfused than ever :-( All this hassle so I could put a live pump on my H ken
