I"ve machined a lot of brake parts for the local IH dealer. He wanted the assembled brake components to be 1/32 inch lower than the edge of the drum. Also he had me turn down 560 discs to fit the smaller tractors as he said the brake disc material was no good in the smaller discs (the spline was the same size. I turned off about an inch and it stinks...not good for the lungs. John
