You may have dirt or rust in the tank or the gas line. Loosen the gas line at the carburetor and look for a good stream of gas. Hold a container beneath the carb and catch any gas. Pull a plug wire off when at an idle and see what the firing looks like. Should have a blue spark. If you have good spark and a good stream of gas at the carb your float may not be set high enough. If have weak spark spark your mag coil may be weak.
That can be replaced without pulling the mag. Hal
