Must be a trend. My mom and dad bought an IH fridge & matching freezer used back in 1952 when they got married. The freezer is still chugging away in the basement but the fridge died back in the late 1970s. The fridge was moved into a farrowing house when mom finally got new appliances in the kitchen, the high heat, humidity and dust killed it in a couple years. The only reason the freezer is still in the basement is nobody's felt froggy enough to move the beast out.
