If your engine is running over 175 your block probably has a layer of junk at the bottom of the block between the sleeves where the hole is to let the coolant pass for good cooling. The water pump is a bolt on thing and you need a longer fan belt a pretty good job but can be done. The fan blades mite catch the hub of the pump but just do a little bending and things will do alright. You dont need anything else. I would use a thermometer to check engine temp at the top to make the final take on adding one be sure to get one with pulley as some come with one and others dont.
