The guy that had the Farmall store for probly about 50 years had a "garage sale" with his stuff. He did have some tractors too so he had an auction for them and then had the rest of the stuff out there in trailers, buckets, and on pallets. But I dont think a lot of it sold either. For example I bought six 8" sweeps for $20, they were brand new, and there was more there that didnt sell. He had a side pulley for a Super A that didnt sell and he was just asking $25 and then later I saw one on Ebay for $65. He had a few spring tip cultivators that didnt sell and a lot of small parts in boxes that didnt sell at all. I guess on the small stuff you would need the part number besides actually needing the part. This was in a small town of about 3000 people and not many of them here have old tractors so there isnt much of a demand for the old parts and he didnt advertise much either. I guess if you could work out something with someone that was having an auction you might come out alright if you set up to the side and just sold what you had off a traler. You would get to a larger public on Ebay. Some of the odd stuff is going to have to find someone that needs it and then they will pay a higher price. Another thing is you could sell some of the stuff here on this site. Try the classified or Photo ads here with a few parts. Photos sure help I think.
