Yes, the Super H was available in a distillate option (I just checked my owner"s and parts manuals), they"re quite rare for their 1953/54 production period during which distillate prices weren"t that much of a bargain. At the time, Super Hs could be ordered with a whole lotta options, or with deletes like my 54 Super H that was ordered from the factory with no hydraulics at all. I"d like to call it a Stage 2, but I can"t really since the live hydraulics were the real distinguishing feature between the Stage 1 and 2s. (yes, the battery box is in a different location ans the front bolster is square but... sometimes I wish I had that live hydraulics).
