Constant mesh gears breaking, cant keep them in 4th gear due to linkage flexing from so much torque. You would have more fun with a 560-806 type engines with a turbo and not have to worry much, and not have to do so much to put it in the M rear end. Id betcha a 560 flywheel with a M starter ring would let you use the stock M starter,,,, 560 clutch, with some sort of alteration to the clutch hub to fit the M input shaft,,,, unless, the M or SM had the same diameter clutch,, as the 560,,, then just use the M or Sm disk,,,, Thats using the 560 type motor,,, on the big block 6 cyl,,, its the same basic bellhousing bolt pattern,,, so if you can get the whole tractor engine, with the back plate, clutch etc etc,,, do some measuring with a M motor plate and see if it will fit. Id rather have the DT407,,,, Chad
