two brothers down the road from be both had 1486s. both toasted the rear end gears. they complained that the 1486 ran the same rear and as the 1086 and that was the problem. what they failed to mention, they had the injector pumps set way up, then bought bigger plows and disks, then had too much tire slip, so they put radials on the rear and added more weight along with the duals. the mechanic that did the repairs told both of them to turn em down but they knew better. they leared after the second time.
